Hi, You All!

This is Rolann Kuhn...You did get my business address correct, but not the name. I am still dancing and would love to see everyone from the old class of '53. My husband and I have a musical theater school in Bavaria, Germany during the summer months; so the only dates that are really good for me are June 14th, preferably, altho' perhaps I could come on the 21st. (This year I have a show to stage in mid-June; but perhaps I could arrange my schedule a little better in 2003.) I am still teaching and choreographing here and recently in Germany, but I still have close ties to the Buffalo area. I have been in Florida now over 25 years, and home is really here; Life is good!

It's amazing for me to be in another predominantly German community, but this time it is the real Germany! Our other home now is in Oberaudorf, Germany. You can see it on the web @ iszo.net or musictheater.net, I think. I can never seem to get the German sites correct.

Sorry to hear about the classmates who have gone before us, but life can be funny sometimes. It's not always the good who die young, but perhaps those less fortunate.

Please keep in touch and advise me of the plans for the reunion. Much love to all of you who are endeavoring to keep everyone together.

Always,
Rolann

Hi Joe,

I was sorry to hear about Neil's son. Thanks for notifying us via email. I would like to be notified when something happens to one of our classmates' families. I think it would be a nice gesture for us to show our sympathy, send a card, make a phone call or whatever when somene is in need.

My life has recently been turned upside down.We just suffered a loss in our family and I know how much it meant to have friends as well as family nearby to lighten our grief.

My 4 year old granddaughter, Michelle passed away suddenly on January 21. I flew down to Maryland to be with my daughter and her family. It is probably the most difficult thing any of us has had to deal with.

It is still difficult to understand why a little child has to be taken but thank Goe our faith is helping to get us through this time. Their church friends were right there to console them even though they are having a difficult time dealing with this too. I don't know what I would do without my strong faith and belief in God.

When we lose someone, it should teach all of us to get our priorities straight and realize why we are here. It is a good time to "houseclean" and get rid of all the junk in our lives that we seem to think is so important.

Take care of yourself and family. Keep in touch.

Elaine

Hi Joe...I forgot to mention to you in my last email that Diane Breitkus's brother Don died the other day. He had a heart attack. I didn't know if you knew about it.
Hi Joe

Been many years. You have my address correct I'm getting the snail mail.... The reunion sounds good.I'm semi retired. June first of last year I was informed my job no longer existed. I do some part time jobs for a local company. couple more grandkids since the last reunion. I'll be coming up to see my mother in a few weeks possibly we can get together then. Don't have the time constraints I use to have. Hope everything is well with you and your family.

As an aside, Tom Kujawa called me a couple weeks ago. He's doing well in Clarksville Tenn, a Captain in the Sheriffs Dept.

Dear Joe,

I received the newsletter and am glad that a reunion is planned - as I previously informed you, I will be out of town all of March but I will try to attend any subsequent meetings. I also wish to note that the only date for a reunion that I cannot make is JULY 6th as we have a wedding. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Diane
